Meet KuQuita (Kuita) Dodson, a passionate master’s level counseling intern at EPC! Currently completing her master’s studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at St. Mary’s University, Kuita focuses on client-centered therapy. She specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem issues, and interpersonal relationship conflicts. Kuita is committed to building strong therapeutic relationships and incorporating clients’ interests into each session.

Her approach is centered on creating a compassionate and empathetic environment where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. Kuita believes in the inherent strength of every individual and aims to empower clients to explore their emotions and overcome challenges. Throughout her internship, she is dedicated to deepening her understanding of these issues and honing her skills to provide the best possible support. Kuita is thrilled to be part of the EPC team and looks forward to her journey toward becoming a skilled and compassionate counselor.
